Get the kids to side with me first then tell the wife I need to move her car out of the garage for awhile . Put this Nova on jack stands, take a bunch of pictures and look for a build sheet. Then I will either pat myself on the back because I still can find neat cars or get sick because I screwed up again and bought another junk Nova. Pretty simple plan.

The grille looks like a '70 version, not a '69. Check the hood lip molding and eyebrow trim for machine threaded vs. 'make-your-own' threaded studs. That might be enough to tell you if the front end was punched in the past.

Since its a '69, start pulling the rear seat out to get the broadcast sheet, that should tell you BB vs SB.
