I was going to do that a few years ago. I had a set of done aluminum heads stashed in the Man Cave attic, got them from a friend at a nice price too. So when I changed up Black Beauty with the SS hood and rear spoiler delete...
 I got the heads out...well they had this funny # on them I was not expecting to see  ...I figred if I fliped them around enough that I would find 842 on them, what a dope, I bought a set of 074's and did not even know it  ...sure glad I did not put those on my L78...Ken would still be on my A%$..  Anyway they found a nice home and I now pay more attention to what I buy.

Checked with Bruce Bachtolder at NHRA, No paperwork or data from GM for any L89 Novas......period. Just the Camaro in '68 and '69 and Chevelle in 1969. That's it. Stock and Super Stock classes.
