I searched through the tax records online during one of the other threads. Calvin White did indeed own 418 Corinthean until he sold it in Oct 2004. Something to go on if one were so inclined...

Anybody recall the 3000 mile Hugger Orange L-89 Camaro convertible that was sold at Atlantic City some 8 to 10 years ago. I know Pace me knows the car. Anyway that car had a Protecto Plate that looked identical to that one with the rust under the dynamo labels and the letters/numbers looked exactually the same. It was later determined that that one had been created by an expert down in south Flordia and aged. It to had a Jenkintown Pa. address. I called the number that went with the address, then found another number that also was to that house . The widow said her husband had died several years ago and He never had a Camaro he was a ford guy all of his 80 some years. The point to this is the creator of some of these plates searching recent deaths as the trail ends there. !!!!!

Doesn't pass the sniff test. Just check the tax records for Calvin on Corinthian Ave and looks like his name is actually Alvin. Could be a mistake by itself, but together I see red flags.

What is known is that the owner has provided some very conflicting and illogical details about the car. The Supercar Registry members still have many doubts about this car and the only one that believes in it to date are people that are not in the know of the details about it. As for the auction, the car was a no sale and with $300k pricetag it will never sell anywhere. Unless proven otherwise it is a gorgeous clone car. |
