As Displayed on the windshield

Shown as a "Dream Car" on the TV series "Dream Car Garage" and highlighted as a feature restoration in Hemmings Muscle Machines; this Nova was also a finalist for Muscle Car of the Year in 2008 by Super Chevy and Hemmings. Additional notoriety for the L89 was a Calendar feature in Oct 2008 and two Chevy Vettefest Gold Spinner Awards

The over 2 1/2 year rotisserie restoration is evident on this #1 Supercar. A 100% numbers matching "born with" drivetrain; all original sheetmetal, body panels, floor and trunk with perfect Tuxedo Black is powered by the 375 hp engine

All components on the car are factory and date code correct

This amazing Nova underwent a nut and bolt restoration to factory specs at Legendary Motorcar of Canada where the car was documented as authentic by Supercar experts during the assembly.

It comes with the original protectoplate, original license plate issued when new, and a full Inspection Report by Supercar Restorer Brian Henderson as well as national judging sheets from all the events. It has been authenticated as a complete numbers matching L-89 Nova, as well as a genuine 1 of 1 car! This is truly the opportunity of a lifetime to own one of the most significant Chevrolet supercars ever produced and certainly one of the most sought after collector cars in the world!

Description on the window placard.........I'm at a loss for words...........
Any Comments??

Ken

Seriously..........What are the Standards for presentation of a car at Auction?? Example......If I took a car to Auction and claimed whatever, and someone buys it..........and finds out that it wasn't what I presented it as.....What would the Legal remedies be, if any??

The owner of the car is the one responsible for the description period. Now it is in the best interest of the auction house to only sell legitimate cars. Their reputation is also on the line to a degree and it is certainly wise and good business. If the auction knows a car is a fake they may/have cancelled auctions for cars. They are only a forum to promote and sell cars period.

They don't authenticate cars...

I was there and the "L89" seemed to be in the undamaged tent in a safe place...not 100% sure. Damn nice looking Nova, BTW. I really want to know what that thing brings...one of the reasons I went! WHO'd actually bid on that thing??? Anyone willing to shell out any amount of cabbage in this economy would certainly know how questionable it is (at best)....no?
