Norwood didn't paint Z11's (or Z28's) like that, they had a smaller mask that extended about 2" outside the cutouts into the wiper well. Los Angeles built cars had the cowl paint that extended pinchweld to pinchweld, so you'll need a picture from an LA built car.

Glad to see that picture of the 67 LOS Z28 cowl paint. That is how my LOS 68 Z was before restoration. Problem is every time I say that is the way mine was I seem to be corrected by people that never seen the area before restoration.

that is the original paint under the black paint that was applied by one of the owners.you can see where the red paint is also under the black paint.the other side is the same.I would guess they used some sort of stencile just to lay over the edge and did a qiuck white spray paint on the top.This is a white stripe car also with bolero red paint RR code.

[/ QUOTE ] Mark, I have seen many Norwood cars painted similiar (large masked area) to LA cars. This car is a 4C Norwood. ![]()
