Default Re: 1969 dusk blue Dupont lacquer question

I painted my 72 Camaro the original Cranberry Red back in 1983 with "factory pack"... it turned out purple. Yes we stirred the paint and yes we mixed all 4 quarts in a new gallon bucket. Ended up restripping the whole car and painting it with paint mixed at the Dupont supply store. The cowl on the car has never been painted and that paint matches almost perfectly. When I paint it this time I am going to leave the cowl area in original paint.
