The third to last digit on the vin tag looks a little odd? Has anyone taken the time to clean the paint off the vin plate before all the hub-ub starts? [/ QUOTE ] Looks like it could be 100801 that has had the 8 hit in the middle (whether as a random dent that happened to land there, or intentionally hit with an oval punch ... ). 801 would match the cowl tag date and 860 body # a whole lot better. Need a good pic of the vin stamp on the cowl. If it's the real thing then you would not expect it to take very long to take that one key picture and provide it to all the inquirers ...
