Pete, I've got the picture saved on my home computer...but I am at work now.... [/ QUOTE ] I believe the info board on the wall was for a 435 HP L71 tri power car and did not list a big tank as an option. I have it blown up on another computer as well.\\ gobble gobble ![]() |

Between this and the L89 Nova thread today it feels like power of the internet has turned us into a bunch of sinister operators?. ![]() ~ Pete

He posted the same pic in reply #70 on this thread from Camaros.net
This too: Yea, I know I need to get over it. I will be done in a couple of weeks and I will have the car in its new place already picked out in the garage. I am 52, and used to have a 67,68,69, Camaro, 66 SS Chevelle and a bunch of other old muscel cars when I was young. The fever never left, but the prices are a little higher. I paid 1600.00 for that 66 SS Chevelle, 396 4 speed car when I was in my 20's. As I got older, priorities change, and the old cars got gone and work consumed my life. Now all I want is one old Camaro, and I think when you go about this the way I have its overwhelms you. I Bought the car, took it straight to the shop and said restore it. Now if you have unlimited means, thats fine. But when you are down to wondering if you have enough left to finish is where I am at. The day will come soon when I get the car done, and all this will be over. Then I will enjoy the car, and forget about the money.Post #18 Dunno what it all means.Draw your own conclusions. |

Here is another post he made on Team Camaro in this thread. Post number 29
http://www.camaros.net/forums/showthread.php?t=152312 "I bought these cars brand spanking new and they all are low mileage cars, in the low 30's. I have 12 old Corvettes and the first Iroc that came out, I think its an 85, with 28 miles on it. It does happen, I am not the only one. I have a friend that has cars all over the country in Musems that he bought new. The L-88 is a big tank car! I only wish I would have bought me a 69Z and put it up."
