Well I'm not so sure of this. You're probably talking about the '66 L-79 Chevy II and history shows that Bill Jenkins gave fits to Jere Stahl's Hemi Belvedere. We're talking Street Hemis here and not Race Hemis. There's a BIG difference right there and unfortunately many people get them mixed up. I've heard plenty of stories about those 66-67 Street Hemis getting there asses handed to them by those L-79 Chevy II's. Naturally, it's about power-to-weight and weight transfer and that EXTREMELY nose heavy STREET Hemi Belvedere wasn't even in the same league as the one-year earlier '65 A-990 RACE Hemi's.
