I don't know what your car is worth, but thought I would post a photo of a similiar car. I went to high school with the owner. His dad bought it new and he inherited it several years ago. It's a 4 speed but I don't know how it's optioned, otherwise. [/ QUOTE ] That appears to be a nice original looking car. That Is a Coronet DELUXE and is the next step up in the price catagory for 1966 from the BASE model. After the Deluxe there is a 440 and a 500 model. They built 49 1966 Coronet Deluxe 2 door sedans with a Hemi. 31 4 speeds and 18 autos, so that car is one of 31 built. The deluxe had the side chrome, chrome drip rail moulding, a different seat upholstery, and color keyed (rather than black) rubber floor mat. The BASE model had none of those things. The only chrome the BASE model has are the Coronet & Dodge emblems, grille, tail lights, windshield and rear window surround, bumpers, and the small peice at the base of the "C" pillar. |
