Thank You YDR. Every word is crystal clear to me except for one, the "TT Data". What is it & where do I look for it on the car?

Here is a pic.

Trim tag plate (TT) drivers side firewall, behind where the power brake booster would be.

Gotcha. I figured that out after visiting other websites & viewing the TT discussions. I will get all the info & post it.

Thanks Guys!

Also keep in mind the possibility of the car being built from real parts scavenged off an original Deuce that was beyond repair?.
If so it looks as if at least the Vin wasn't jumped but compare the TT to Vin in respect to them belonging together or not?.

Good luck w/ everything HowieZ...and welcome aboard!.

There are some obvious differences that are evident in the pic, but nothing that conclusively disqualifies it. The Trim Tag info is crucial.

I see the window sticker hangin there in the window. Don't be fooled by that either, as I've seen plenty 'blanks' from back in the day that people will use to 'authenticate' a given car. I can usually pick a fake out in about 1 second since I've studied them extensively for my own repro window sticker effort!

Keep searching - go Blue!
