I was driving by a local dealership and saw that they had a blk/blk SRT 8 Limited 6 spd, 3:90 car for sale. Has anyone bought or driven one that can share the experience? [/ QUOTE ] Good question. More specifically does anyone have or driven (hard) a 6.1 425 horse hemi? How is the acceleration? Neck snapping? Inquiry minds would love to know ![]() |

Neck Snapping? I believe the problem with these cars is they are too heavy! Have not seen one at the drags yet.

Both will snap you back in the Seat. The R/T Weighs about 3900lbs,With the 6 speed and 3:92s turn off the Traction Control and dump the clutch you can feel that 375hp.The SRT-8 weighs about 200lbs more and has 50 more horses. You can feel it. The Orange SRT-8 I was trying to get was really responsive with the 6 speed and 3:92 gears.
