Not my old car, NOR car. Looks like a nice rig from the pics, and the price is not bad "for this economy" as everyone who has been looking at my car says. But, in person, might be something else, you never know with pics.
You are definitely on track having it inspected by a board member. JB |

Sounds like you have plenty of guys willing to look for you but if not I would be happy to as Gilroy is about an hour from me.
I think I know the car you are talking about. Has been for sale quite a while.

Thanks Chevy, the guys here have been incredibly generous. I appreciate your offer as well. Will let you all know how things pan out.
JB, just out of curiosity, which celebrity owned your car at one time? |

Mark,
The guy's name was Aaron Seltzer of "Scary Movie" fame. His dad had some guys doing resto work for him in Orange, CA around 1990/91. One of their cars, a beautiful black '70 LS-6 Chevelle was stolen out of their shop and never seen again. It was sitting next to the 72-72 '69 Z when I bought it. Actually liked it better, but it would not fit in my garage. JB |

Wow, nice cars Aaron had! It infuriates me to hear about muscle cars (or any car, really) being stolen.
Regarding the car in question, Dean gave me a call yesterday after being gracious enough to take a look at it and I'm not sure the car is worth the $69K the seller is asking. Seems there are some pretty significant paint issues and a few other things. Will keep you updated. Dean, Russ, & Jeff have been a huge asset. |
