Al, whirring sounds like the pump is going out, I am a shifter guy myself but a good auto with your combo sounds real fun to me, pop it out and give it one more go with your trans guy, have him drive it before yanking it is good advice.
if it craps out again order up the TKO 6spd kit.  peace. B.

[/ QUOTE ] Bud, I'm not pulling anything until I KNOW what the problem is if there is one,,could be loose nut behind the wheel syndrome  ...and it wouldnt be a TKO..the Richmond 6 is sitting on the shop floor!!

Albert, ship that car up to me and we'll get that tranny fixed..please include one extra set of rear tires for road testing
