You are right about the casting numbers i made a clerical mistake the casting on the block is 3955270, and the deck does match the car. if its not a copo then what is it. i am not a expert on chevy, i was going to buy a copo at a estate sell recently, but my business got to busy to leave. i bought this that it could be or not be a real car. thats why i am asking for advice.

If it is a factory BB car it could be a 375/396 SS, well worth a restoration.

Yes you are correct, but the car has 5833 miles on it, and the engine pad matches the vin, but the casting numbers on the block are a 427 one guy has told me. the car has bow tie on front and back. No spoiler and no options and its dark green with light green interior. its a ugly car .
