Tried to post pics but they must be too large. The webbing is a bit shiny but can anybody remember how shiny they actually were in the day? I will try to post pics later.

Try putting the new belts in the dishwasher a few times to dull down the webbing.
Wrap the metals with ziploc bags & a rubberband.
After the <u>wash</u> cycle,turn off the dishwasher &amp; let them sit.
Let the detergent cut into the webbing awhile.
I recommend any granulated detergent...

Sam, thanks for posting the pics I sent to you. They are not for a 1000pt car but not shabby either. I also want to mention that Charles Stuart(West Dakota Parts) also included new GM buttons on the buckles and reworked the retractable belts with covers I provided. His # is 307-684-9297
