Just got here my friend. Sorry I missed you when you left the banquet. Got to give your bride a hug but didn't get a chance to say anything to you. As usual, a GREAT TIME with even better friends, ........... and Ken & Paulette are always at the top of that list.

I apologize for shirking my duties but I never hit the room before 1 AM and was up and gone by 8ish each day, plus the laptop we took wasn't exactly user friendly to me.

I have over 300 shots I'm uploading to Photobucket now and will start throwing them out in random order ASAP. Not many action shots this year because I made a few passes myself with some pretty special passengers. Took my wife down the track first thing Friday; her first ever ride down the strip. She thanked me for the ride and said once was enough!

Then I had the distinct pleasure of taking Nancy Gibb along on my second trip. Bob McClurg hopefully got a couple of good shots of that one. Unbeknownst to Nancy I had talked with Bob prior to the event and had this arranged. I hoped to slide out of the drivers seat as we got to the line and have Nancy drive, but when she arrived Friday morning she was wearing a cast on her foot and didn't feel comfortable enough to drive. But NEXT YEAR Nancy, NO EXCUSES!!!

And on my final trip I was again blessed when a former Fred Gibb employee and good friend shared a trip down the track in a Gibb car. Thank You Bob Lionberger for riding along. I hope you enjoyed it half as much as I did.

Now let me get the pix loaded and we'll see what we got.
