I spoke with the owneox a few weeks ago when he had it on team chevelle for sale. He said he found it in a back yard and the people had no idea what it was. he said he found the buildsheet in the glovebox. He sounded like a pretty honest guy and seems to have given an honest description on the car.

I looked long and hard at this car to purchase when Paul found it. In fact the only thing that held me back was the fact is wasn't a stripe/cowl car ... I know I know. It's a great car

I talked with the owner also, and I believe it is as claimed.
I think it would be great to see one finally done without stripes. All we ever see are stripes added to the ones that didn't come with them.
