[ QUOTE ]
Dick told me that he recommended a toe-out for autocrossing or road racing as that spec would allow the tire to make a better footprint when entering a corner. [/ QUOTE ] that is slightly correct, it has to be in the front and it helps the car "turn-in" [ QUOTE ] Those specs would not work on the street, as the car would pull too hard either to the right or the left, depending on the surface or the grooves on the road. I actually tried his specs once on one of my Corvettes. I barely made it home from the alignment shop!! Had to have the toe-in placed back into the car. My mechanic at that time had no problems with it and he was more than happy to take care of the situation. Really cool card! Dr. Pete [/ QUOTE ] the alignment specs listed on the card are backward toe OUT in the front, toe IN in the rear I have been autocrossing Corvettes for decades, trust me the way he wrote the alignment is BASS ackwards the card IS cool though, even cooler seeing he wrote it backwards maybe it was for a competitor? ![]()
