I don't know about your area but around here the farmers bought them from the gas stations. Drive around the country and look for them like you would look for an old car project. I never paid more than $300 for one and it was for a visible. I found over 20 of them and all were owned by farmers. Dustin

Mr70, those where the ebay pumps. I like the globe on top thing & that vintage. Can't be over 8 feet tall, so some of the really old ones wouldn't work for the basement.

Would not have a problem picking it up if it was close enough, wouldn't mind paying for shipping within reason either if I liked it.

Thanks for the input, I'll keep searching. And I definitely would do the resto myself.
