Not there last night but I quickly found it in an adjacent neighborhood. It was too late to knock on the door but I will do that as soon as I can and get some info and pictures. Must be a car guy - he also has a mint older Mercedes 4 door for sale.

Knocked on the door 2x but have not spoken to the owner yet. Got some more pix. It has a very large engine, but is an auto on the column. The missing headlights are to accomodate air intake. There is an additional shifter on the floor w/ a B&M handle so it may be converted to manual or have a manual auto shift. Got a marginal shot of the traction bars.

Also - no VIN on the dash, not sure what is meant by cowl in the post above. Is that the piece directly under the winshield? Does this mean under the hood? I will keep trying to find the owner. Let me know if there are anymore specific questions. |

the vin is on a tag on the end of the door
