I just called the Double Tree and somehow they had me down for reserving 3 rooms. I only need 1 so I canceled the other 2. I don't know how full they are but if someone needs a room or 2 for Thursday night, as of this morning (Aug 31) 2 more are available.

Pleae holler at Cumby and give him basic info on your car(s) for the windshield car signs, AND, as in the past, several cars attending the reuion will be photographed for upcoming magazines articles as well as books. The best way to insure that all information is correct, print up some sheets telling about you and your car.

For those racing on Friday, please bring a helmet, shirt with sleeves and long pants, no flip flops...closed toed shoes only. Also, if you will need to get fuel at the track, bring a container, as they cannot put fuel directly into your car.

Just received word, that do to some minor heath concerns, Donna Mae will be unable to attend this year's reunion. She was very disapointed that she had to decline, and said to tell everyone to look for her at future sYc events.

Tom, found out today I'm a scratch for the event - 2 in a row now I am unable to get away from work this week, the new job schedule has proved quite difficult for this particular weekend. The audit from last week has hung over till this week. Looking forward to the next event where I can see everyone.

Well, you are all right - I need to control my job schedule better (not sure a union steward will be much help there though!), the Rosemont gathering looks attractive, and I'm still installing the hidden NOS system...

Looking forward to the next show though - I need a fix, I haven't even been to the drag strip this year as a spectator, and the only show was Brian's gathering at Carlisle - which I came/went based on my work schedule. It's a tough balance these days for sure.

The good news is that I have plenty of resto projects to keep me busy, oh wait - I've not worked on them this year either.... Maybe I'll just send Danny's car to Schoneye
