I can't help but think of what some of these operations can do now?.
Timing is sure ripe for something out of left field like a major Chinese brand to try and sign up operating facilities w/ large customer bases that've never have considered such a thing before?.

For sure the dealers will keep going under a different brand.Hope it's not ''foreign''.But what choice do they have?

Saturn, Saab, Hummer would be a good cluster company since no products compete with each other. One stop shopping for economy, euro luxury and trucks.

I was a partsman at Dennison Chev Olds in the early 70's. There's a large Oriental population in Richmond, and domestics cars don't do very well there.

So sad to see Birchwood Pontiac in Winnipeg on that list. Longtime top salesman Denis Verrier still works there. He ordered and raced my Ram Air iv GTO in NHRA stock eliminator at Bison Dragway for a few years. Great car people being idled at a time when GM needs them most. I still can't believe that America let a few CEO's (Smith and Wagner)tear down a National icon. Can you imagine if they take down Coca Cola next? I'm completely disgusted!!!!!!!!
