------Rick,,,Red Alerts big motor was hard-blocked half way up because it was a hundred over. With the electric water pump switch on you couldnt get that "14 to 1" compression motor to overheat. As was stated above the heat is primarily in the top of the motor.........Bill S

Thanks for the responses guys. I had figured it would be ok but wanted to get a little input from anyone that has dealt with it before. I appreciate the input and feel more comfortable using it now.

As Bill said, Red Alert runs a filled block, high compression, a stock water pump, and have had no heating problems.
Well, just when I do a long burnout and toss the belt. ![]()

i now a few people that have filled block in pro street cars. hydraulic cement(block hardener)filled blocks for strenth.
