I have a 66 396 block that is filled with hard block. Its punched out to a 427 bore (.155)10.0 comp. Its never been over 190. Just last week end at the ocean city. Md. cruise we sat in a tons of traffic and never got hot. I don't think it gets past 180 in normal driving
