Flew out of Philly to Washington DC and then to Indy. U.S. Airways sucks... The auction is amazing though. What recession.......Probably the finest collection of cars I have seen in one auction.

Appears Mecum has put himself at the head of the pack in terms of offering the best of american muscle. I was quite impressed. In this economic climate I would say all makes did well.

Rob and I got to spend a few hours at the auction Friday PM, ran into several club members, some selling, some buying, some like us, just hanging out.

Not only was the quantity and quality of rare musclecars second to none, but also Dana and his staff are to be congratulated for putting on a first class event.

It was good to see a lot of reserves either met, or dropped, to allow cars to change hands.
I saw a few sell that I thought were bargains, but over all, I thought the prices were strong, especially considering the state of the economy, and most folks I spoke to felt the same.
