M22 and BE reunited with 69 COPO Camaro
The gentleman who had the M22 and BE rear end out of my COPO met with me this weekend and we made a deal to reunite the parts with the car . The person who had these parts had been waiting a long time in hopes of being able to buy the car. I was in the right place at the right time and moved very fast with no knowledge that anyone was looking for this car or that the original trans and rear end was still in existance. My criteria for what I wanted consisted of a minimum of original motor, 4 speed and that was it .... so when I found a COPO with original motor and a protect-o-plate I thought I was livin' right !
I am not sure how many COPOs are out there with the original drive train they left the factory with but I am pleased to be the caretaker of one

Congradulations!I knew it would work out eventually. I'm glad I was able help put you two together. To me that is what the hobby has been about, its not always about the money! Mark

Mark you were key . I didn't want to divulge any of the players names in this deal without making sure it was OK with them first. Not sure this would have happened had you not hooked me up with info ! Thanks again.
