I had a bad dealership experience on a car and it was the first thing I would think about everytime I looked at the car for a long time. [/ QUOTE ] LOL...I know the feeling...we had a '98 Malibu that was probably *the* most reliable vehicle I've ever owned, but I still get po'd talking about it because of the way we got snookered at the dealership when we bought that car...the kicker is those douchebags had the b@lls to send us a "satisfaction report" with a note instructing us how to fill it out favorably! |

I work with these characters every day...it never ceases to amaze me how short sighted they are
Most dealers who floor plan with GMAC are at the max....no additional credit, which means their ability to add inventory is hampered greatly. When these cars sit around for awhile incurring floor plan expense the prices will soon come down...it is a shame to see this kind of thing, but it is par for the course ![]()

Sadly the test vehicle was an automatic, not a stick. There were several shift options to choose from including manually with paddles on the steering wheel, very video-gamish!
The car was easy to get into even with my giant 13 1/2 work boots on. The first thing I noticed was the lack of visibility, disturbing in the parking lot but didn't really notice it once on the road. The acceleration was impressive for a 6cyl to say the least. Very smooth and constantly pulling into the 7's ?! I did manage to get some twists and turns and the car was perfect. You can shut off all the stability and traction assist if you choose and the car still sticks. As for the back seat, yes, I had to throw the kid in the back. For some reason the salesman wants to come along when you show up with a teenager and a video camera ! ![]() 20-60 roll out Yes Sam, we brought our own music!! ![]() |

Same type of deal when I walked into my local Buick store to buy a new 86 Buick Turbo Regal. I knew exactly what I wanted, even had all the option numbers, but the sales people tried to sell me everything but what I wanted. I suggested they call their zone manager and have the car special ordered,
but their final words were, "if we cant order it on our computer, you can't get it". I was sooooo honked off after wasting 1 1/2 hours on my lunch hour, I never did buy one..... ![]()
