According to the original owner, the stripe was added. It's a tape stripe that can easily be removed. But the paint is original. I am curious how you can tell by the photo that the car has been painted

. After 26 years of owning and restoring cars, this car is one of the finest originals I have ever seen. And I own a very nice original survivor and have had several phenomenal originals through this shop.
