Bruce lives in Soldotna, right? The Mountain is erupting, but it's far from a St. Helens type scenario at this point. The power was out down there this morning, I don't know if that's related.
The ash from this mornings eruption was at 60,000 feet, and droped around 100 miles north of Anchorage.
