The seller might not want you telling people about it because it is a known fake. Just be careful on buying the car before it is verified. Why hasn't the seller had it verified ?

Good friend "real" older car from NY in NJ. found near Englishtown some years back, before these were thought to be important. He never verified it because years ago when he bought it he did not care,(he also has more money than god, and does not care) now the values of these cars force us to be more skeptical and persistant/diligent. Thx
