2009 ACES/NOCC Northern Regional

Just curious who is going to the Northern Ohio Chevelle (ACES) show this weekend in Westlake, Ohio. Show will be very good!! I talked to a buddy in the club who said that they have Chevelles registered from as far away as Texas.

Friday nite will be fun. They are doing a cruise that leaves the Holiday Inn Hotel at 5PM and goes down Lake Rd. along Lake Erie to the Cleveland Metroparks area which is very nice. The club wants to do a photo shoot in the Metroparks at one of the stops with all the cars on the cruise. Then there will be a map for cruisers who want to go to the Quaker Steak and Lube in Sheffield, Ohio or just go back to the hotel. The local City Police Depts. are providing escort services at busy intersections.

Friday nite will also be a "meet and greet" in the hotel parking lot and there will be a large screen movie show outside like last years that will start at 9PM. I think the movie is Cannonball Run and there will be some old, original Little Rascal films also.

There will be lots of trophies and special car awards as well as door prizes. Show runs on Saturday & Registration is 8:30AM-1PM. You can also register Friday from 9AM-3PM. Awards banquet/dinner starts at 6PM on Saturday and the awards presentation is at 7PM. There will also be things/events for kids to do..

So far our "screwy weather" we have been having looks to be good for Friday and Saturday.. Keeping my fingers crossed!!

My Wife and I will be there with our 69 Ragtop Chevelle SS Daytona Yellow..

Thanks Mike and Bruce.. Bruce, I will submit the two cars sometime soon.. Might be a nice fall or winter project..

Mike, looks like Friday might be the only good day.. Just watched the local news and they are calling for some heavy duty T-Storms on Saturday.. But what else is new.. This summer has really sucked weather wise!! I won't bring the car Saturday with that crap around...
