It looks like if you want a Camaro that can hang with the New Shelby's their is only one place and one place only that will deliver such a car and that is Nickey Chicago.
Thats right in this generation's muscle car pony wars, GM and its mighty performance icon the Camaro have only one hope resting squarely on the shoulders of one Stefano Bimbi. The great white hope for the vaunted Camaro and its legendary history of ZL-1s and COPOs comes down to little Nickey Chicago. Meanwhile Ford simply continues to dominate this generations pony car muscle car wars with the new 540 HP GT 500 not to mention Shelby's post title stable of super Mustangs the 600 HP Supersnake, the 725 HP Supersnake and the new 800 HP Don Prudhomme edition Shelby street legal drag car. Dodge steps up with the 425 HP Challenger and GM hopes someday to be able to deliver some Camaro's to Stefano for conversion into Nickey Camaro's. |

Hold on, let's not forget Lingenfelter. They recently announced their Camaro performance packages and they are quite impressive in their own right. You can Google them for more information. They are actually produced IN-HOUSE at Lingenfelter and everybody knows when you want your Corvette done by the best, that's where it goes.

If it were me, I would order a black one and have red stripes painted on at a reputable paint shop, and have a lingenfelter installed. I had a friend order a new black 95 vette and took his original engine out, and had a lingenfelter complete engine installed and he beat the crap out of the car driving it to work (including lunchtime antics), and he raced it on the weekends at various tracks (for years). That engine never broke. They have been doing this for a long time and have a store front.
my 2 cents and under 20k upgrade you probably could not break. http://www.lingenfelter.com/mm5/merchant...tegory_Code=C56 |
