Sam....there is no"Best Way to" on this one so I'm thinking it's the same one as the one Mark sold yesterday.....1974 and up.....right Mr. 70?

I believe its the correct part number for 67 to 70 z/28..65 to 72 396 427 454 ect.

I would consider it a service replacement for those Mike.
Assembly line correct for 1974 & up vehicles,and you mentioned in an email to me that the box shows various vehicle applications up to 1979,so that's the year it was actually sold retail,for that very reason.
