getting closer, got a little snow today but finally got it in the garage. wont be long before i find out whats inside the rear

You got the pic posting down your car is a good one to restore, with what you have said I would say it is a 375hp car by the big block heater box and 6k tach take a pic on the frame mounts for the engine, and bolt holes on the tranny cross member. That would really be a good one to keep if you can Todd

I'm in suspense......The car is on jack stands...Did you spin the rear to see if it is 4.10 posi? that's an easy way to tell if it is not original inside....assuming it is an original COPO rear

here is the trans mount that came with the car, and a pic of the engine frame mount. found an 10 year old insurance certificate in the car, and will try to contact the guy to get more info.
