Dan,
I have always liked GTO's and 65 is my favorite as to style but 64 was the first. I remember seeing the first GTO (64) at 13 years old. That car hooked me on the muscle cars. I still want a 69 300 post car and I'm sure we'll find one. Later Buddy, Dave |

The first car I looked at to buy was a 64 GTO Post Sedan. It was silver with a black bench and 4-speed. Yes it was a 3-deuce engine too.
I missed buying the car, in 1970, by 15 minutes. Even offered the guy more than he was asking ($350), but he wouldn't do it. ![]() I've always thought of that car ever since. ![]() Good luck with your search. |

I bought a 64 GTO Post from the Original Owner in 1979 for $750. Burgundy,389 4 Barrel,4 Speed. Nice car, but 65 was my favorite GTO Body Style.

I also prefer the '65 to the '64, but I would still make garage space for a '64. Check performanceyears.com and classicalpontiac.com; might be one for sale there.
Good Luck, Scott
