He gets it! [/ QUOTE ] I Got It... Ok so now I came home to get a camera and go back to the Toy Box and snap a pic, I have a flood of for sale, I do not want to sell it untill I verify or figure out who built my car, that would be foolish, also my car is a street race bracket type car built what looks like late 68 to real early 69 I do not want to sell any parts rear end or glass over steel stinger hood. I say beater but it really is a decent car complete with a blown up 427 thats about it. the axle reads BE 1001G2 and looks crappy like the Burnish Brown RS COPO (Thanks Sam) Its Friday ![]()

I'm no expert on stampings but that sure looks like a BL rear that was restamped to BE. The date does not really fit into any kind of COPO car range either.

The lower E means it had an Eaton posi unit in it. Note that that E looks similar to the E in BE. Hard to tell from the angle, but I'd check it out anyway. Casting date seems early for COPO, though.
