I was bidding on that LS6. It is a very special car in my opinion. Terry recently purchased it from another auction.
It is a Survivor with Great Docs. If I remember correct the bidding closed in the $140s. Over 400 cars traded hands that weekend and there were many quality cars at great prices. |

I think i have seen this car before out in monterey years ago when I lived out there for a while, I think it was at an R&M auction maybe 2002?? orange 69 l88 at same auction (nabors restored)was at same auction, as was the 59 vette with 3k miles that recently went for stupid money at BJ. I think the $4M shelby coupe was at that auction too where I rememebr the silver ls6. I have the book to that auction I can check, could be wrong. then when i moved back to chicago I seen it again at mecum. very nice car, it was running bad in parking lot outside mecum and I remember that well. It was missing. very nice car none the less. I always liked this car so I know I have seen it before. who ever gets it, its is a nice car.

Harold, I know this car. It is a real deal car with great paperwork in a great color combo and a convertible too. What hurts it in my opinion is that it is an in betweener meaning it is not original enough to earn a survivor/benchmark award because the chassis was painted yellow at one point, and is not in show condition either. One other thing that seem to hold it back is that it is an M40 car. Not bashing the car, as it is an extremely rare piece, just stating facts.
