I am/was looking for a project for my son and I to do together for him. The car is owned by a buddy of his and e is asking 10K for it..about 5K too much in my book..offered to buy it 4K without motor.trans combo as I have no inererst in the but he wont seperat them form the car..we shall see if the economic downturn (read recession) doesnt change his mind. I cant get the picture of Azure Turq and white W/RS out of my head. Its funny how stories change, the first I heard of this car was that is was a original BB RS SS car less motor and trans..now its gutted 307 manual trans A/C converted race car. Where it is stored there are two bulbes hanging from the cieling and a gravel floor. There were ATV parts all around, A painfully orignal 64 Impala convertable W/hydraulics a Buik Astro??..kind of like a Monza, another race car though..but he is a decent kid (22) ad was kind enough to give me first shot as he is friends with my son. So we'll see what happens..still looking. Another neighbor has a 80 Camaro that looks decent enough, now where did I put his number.......

On the other cars that you are talking about...I think that you are referring to a Pontiac Astre?

Sounds like it had a rough life. 10K is a little mush, I say that only from how you explained the car. Take the fist full of benjamins with you the next time you go see the car. 22 YOM's have a thing for a fist full of dollars.

Albert,

I'm thinking the Buick equivalent of a Chevy Monza was the Skyhawk
