Hope this is the correct area to post this request
Have a set of old j56 calipers that have pitted piston bores. I read that it is possible to have these sleeved with stainless steel sleeves. I would like to know if this process works well and any recommendations of where to send the calipers to have the work properly done |

The practice of caliper sleeving has been common since the early seventies in the corvette arena. Virtually anyone who rebuilds them resleeves. White post comes to mind...

i second lonestar. they did a great job on the 4 piston calipers in my 67 camaro rs/ss. father ond son operation, very professional. they will give you back YOUR calipers, unlike some of the bigger places.

Thanks very much for the response to my question about the caliper rebuild. It is much better to have a couple of recommendations as opposed to a shot in the dark. I appreciate the time you took to respond.
