I bolted them on my Chevelle when the car was less than a year old. Everyone flat towed to the race track in those days including me. Trailers were big $$$.

A lot of guys just made their own in those days. There were some on my W31 when I bought it, and they were homemade. You can just make them out in the photo.
![]() I took them off and had the bumper rechromed after this photo. You should make some sort of gasket to go between to minimize corrosion. |
