John,

Looks like a car that I certified in New England. Any data on the drive train? The trim tag is real.

So much for a recession. I'd opt for a RS 69 Z/28.

I just sold a Le Mans Blue with black deluxe RS Z on ebay . it had a NOM motor and trans but the units were rebuilt... pretty much original paint with one scrape and a few minor lower fender rust spots. Original glass, interior .Flat hood with dealer added rear spoiler. Needed to be put back together and it went to reserve in less than 48 hours (22k) and I stopped the auction and sold it to the high bidder who made me an offer .. got 5 emails form guys that were watching the auction waiting to go in at the final hour. Probably cost myself some dough but I got just shy of 30K for the car and am still getting asked about it... so though that yellow Z for 67k is not an RS if it is as nice as it looks in person and #'s I think 67K is not a bad price. May not be a steal but not bad at all IMHO.

FYI

You would have been surprised how much you could have brought the lacquer back on this car! I would have done that dropped a period correct day two sat night special motor and some yellow lakewoods, torque thrusts...
