Default Re: finding a better price on Royal purple oil

Norm, I know what you mean about the Amsoil. Fortunately there is a machine shop about 15 minutes from my house which is an Amsoil dealer and I get the 20/50 severe duty synthetic racing oil there for my Nova 396 engine and the 20/50 synthetic V twin oil for the Harleys.

However, the local Murrays Auto parts store sells the 5/20 and 10/30 synthetic Amsoil and I think it is around eight bucks a quart just like the Royal Purple. I have been "sold" on the Amsoil and it is all I use in my everyday vehicle- Ford F150 Truck, My Wife's Hyundai the Harleys and the Muscle Car.. I think the stuff is great.

I just bought my Ford F150 in July of this year, put 500 miles on it with the factory oil then changed it and put in the 10/30 Amsoil synthetic and will run that the life of the truck. I also noticed better gas mileage with the truck running the Amsoil synthetic.. GOOD STUFF!! I understand Royal Purple is just as good from what I have been hearing and reading.

Rich
