Went to an upstate car show one time with some of my country friends....one of the guys had his car parked in show and we were all walking around. Came back about 1/2 hour later to find someone sitting on his front fender drinking a beer. He kept his cool and politely walked over and sort of looked at the car and asked the guy.." hey is this your car man, its real nice...??" and when the guy said "no,not mine"...he decked him!!! Seemed like the right thing to do at the time...nobody called the cops...the guy just took off.

Back in October at a local BJ's store in Northern Westchester a local idiot intentionally kicked a shopping cart into a womans car, caused more than a grand in damage - clown got charged with a felony (on top of others he had pending). Some never learn
-- no this isn't the car

Talk to the store manager and tell them what happened. Out here in CA, the store insurance will cover this damage if you show it was caused by the shopping cart.

That's true.
And many stores have outdoor videocameras that most likely captured the incident.
You would've been wise to chase her down the minute it happened to the Mustang, and respectfully confront her & the store manager.I had a similar situation and this was how I handled it with great success, albeit for the situation itself.
They tape over those videotapes shortly thereafter,so the odds of it still being there might not be too good today.

Good advice, hope I never have to use it. I think that I will share this with the store in hopes that they will take care of the damage.
