And I might add that while it's only the last 8 digite of the VIN, the first two letters are transposed. IE: if the last 8 of actual vin was "0B262759" then what you will find is "B0262759". This will often lead to much confusion. On one of my own cars it goes one step further. The VIN is 0A251 950 , but the body stampings are A0251 590 Someone got crossed up when the stamping die was set up. ![]() MB [/ QUOTE ] How funny, when you mentioned the "BO" prefix I finally snapped, I've seen that several places on my Challenger.
