Yes, there should be a CVIN stamped there on 69 and newer Mopars.

Prior to the new theft prevention laws that started in 69 (which mandated the locking ignition switches on the column and CVIN stampings on the car bodies), you may find a sequence number there instead, which would match a sequence number on the broadcast sheet if you have one.

Sometimes they are so faintly stamped that without stripping the paint you wont see it.
