Default Re: Attached Garage Storage Question

Carl, some dehumidifyers are rated to work at 40 degrees, the LG I have I think goes a little under that (35). I don't have any issues in my garage even when it gets really cold outside, like teens or single digit degrees. Even at that my garage still stays right around freezing (32 degrees at its lowest) and the dehumidfyer is not pulling much of any moisture when it is this cold anyway and I usually turn it off and let it rest a while... Just watch your humidity gauges in the garage.. The big thing is the fluctuation in temperature.. Thats when the condensation sets in.... Thats why its important to just keep the garage sealed off and do not open the door...
