Charlie, I think the question above was the heat shield brackets on the drivers side, down on the exhaust manifold. Hard to tell from your pictures, but they should be Orange. Drivers side bolt on the bractet and passenger side are welded.
you see these wrong all the time.

ahh..now I understand his question. I will check. My clean barn will never be the same with all the crap that blew out the exhaust after sitting for 36 years.

Definitely the most useful 2nd gen info I have seen anywhere. Maybe you and Macneish oughta consider a "Definitive 2nd Generation Z/28" book for the non-computer literate...

I plan on putting up a website with bigger pics so people can refer to them if they want info on how this one was put together. I'm really comfortable with how orig this car is from what I am seeing and the history of it. Yes there are some pics that people could care less about but some of the stuff is very helpful when trying to sort a car out that has been messed with for 39 years.
