Very interesting.. Doesn't seem to have the large font 5 like I'd expect to see from a LA car..

Charley look inside the drivers side door jamb behind the door hinges for the
B-P-T stamps on the cowl panel. I am not sure if LA stamped them there like Norwood.

Is there insulation on the under side of the hood??

Also do you have a photo of the canister and line clip on the drivers inner fender???

It was sold brand new in Illinois,so it won't have the EEC NA-9 details you are referring to.
1970 Vehicles that <u>sold</u> brand new in the state of Calif. had to be fitted for that,not just assembled there.

Darren, I don't think the large font "5" appeared until later production. In other words, they had not yet broken or lost the correct sized "5".
