You can buy an original set like "Unreal" did and have them rechromed or you can get the reproductions from Crane Corvettes and also Paragon Corvettes has them. The good reproduction go for $400 to $500

I forgot I have an original set on a complete 68 396 from a full size car. They have the small bump and recess on the drivers side like 68 valve covers a supposed to have. So my question is will they clear the brake booster? Or do I have to use the corvette style on my 68 L78 Nova. I will post a picture later tonight!

After looking at Kim's pics and comparing them to SuperNovaSS's pics, there is one difference with the driver side one. Note the little flat stamped into SuperNovaSS's cover that is not present in Kim's pic.

Mine is like Kim's, and I was 100% sure it was 69.....now I'm not 100%. Can someone confirm that the ones like Kim's are correct for COPO?

If the spacing on the 68 Nova is exactly like the 69 Camaro, which I think it is, then the ones like Kim's will definitely not interfere. Actually, the wiper motor is more in the way than the booster. The slanted one is definitely not necessary.

Ok I went up and took a picture of the driver side valve cover of the 68 full size 396 motor that I have. It has the same little offset as Kim's valve cover. So would this be the correct valve cover for a 1968 disk brake car? Kim if I am not mistaking didn't all the Gibb cars have power drum brakes? Someone might be able to verify this that has an original 68 bb camaro with disk brakes?

Thanks Jason

All the Gibb cars were power drum brake cars.
